Molecular Biology of Ageing Meeting 2017
ERIBA organised for the second time the Molecular Biology of Ageing Meeting, from the 8th to the 11th of October 2017 at the premises of UMCG.
More than 200 participants from 64 different institutions worldwide attended the four-day Meeting. Andrew Dillin (Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at Berkeley) opened the event with a key note lecture on mitochondrial proteotoxic stress. Scientists that work on the very diverse molecular aspects of the ageing process joined the discussion in ten sessions attended by a diverse and wide audience of senior and junior researchers, but also by a large number of doctoral and master students.
The Organizing Committee, chaired by Gerald de Haan, has agreed that the third edition will take place in October 2019. Updates will soon be available at www.bioageing.nl.
