The EASD-SGGD meeting will be held from 11 till 13 May 2017. Like in previous editions it will be an opportunity to meet people – scientists, doctors and other professionals – who actively participate in research in the field of (epi)genetics of diabetes, its complications and related diseases. The mixture of keynote lectures, invited talks and oral presentations from young scientists as well as poster discussions will ensure an excellent and stimulating scientific environment. In combination with the beautiful old city of Leiden, with its ancient buildings alongside mesmerizing canals, I am convinced that EASD-SGGD 2017 will be an unforgettable meeting.
