Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the DuSRA Annual Meeting 2024, scheduled to take place on October 14th and 15th at the Wageningen Campus, Aurora Building.

The meeting shares the latest results in ageing research in the Netherlands. The aim is to share results, connect with other ageing researchers and clinicians, and to start new collaborations. The event is aimed at members of DuSRA but is open to anyone interested. There are no registration costs for this event, but for joining the dinner we charge €25.

On day one, we will have keynotes from Alessandra Tammaro, on the role of air pollution on ageing, and by Marcel Olde Rikkert on the complexity of aging and the pitfalls of biomarker-driven health-span interventions. There will be parallel sessions where we split in a senior group and a junior group – for tailored workshops. We will end day one with a dinner at the Fletcher Hotel Wageningsche Berg at 7:00 PM.

On day two, we will start with the General Assembly, during which we vote for the new DuSRA chair. In the lectures ‘4 decades of ageing research in Wageningen’ Lisette de Groot and Bas Zwaan and ‘five years of DuSRA research in Leiden – a reflection’ by Eline Slagboom, unique overviews of years of ageing research will be presented, including a vision on the future.

Over the two days, there are 32 oral presentation slots, which will be filled based on selected abstracts. So please submit your research, to showcase to a very relevant audience
